The before and after photos of our kitchen and bath were featured in Canyon Creek Echos Magazine!
The Kitchen and Master Bath Cabinets Doors are Hampton. They were painted on a Maple with CC Color #1-3901P. I chose this color as I wanted one with a slight gray undertone.
Walls in kitchen are painted Sherwin Williams Nebulous White SW 7063, Ceilings bright white with Beams painted Passive SW 7064.

As you know I wear a few different hats ; )! One which allows me to do a bit of design and to work with my son Brent. While I didn't do the design on this project, I was responsible for the counter top in the restrooms and witnessed the abilities of Brent and his company: Pence NW Construction.
This was another Tenent Improvement project in an existing space. It used to be GI Joes. Now it is ITT Tech School.

Pence NW latest tenant improvement project:
It was a fast paced project for a Dr that helps those with Sleep Disorders. JW Design helped the Dr. create a wait room which was calming yet modern. Hunter Douglas Roller Shades were used to create a wall in an area with a wall of windows:

While I helped with Color... Mrs. Shim spent countless hours looking for the perfect accessories for each bedroom:

It's been a busy week and "the project" is really coming together! We'll be doing a final cleaning tomorrow... Yes, we sometimes work Saturday's! I'm really happy with material and color selections and so is the client! Here is a sneak peak:
Now should I wait until the client has all the furniture delivered and artwork up before I do a final post on the project?
Things are moving along at the Pence NW "Tenant Improvement"... You can see that it is well insulated; even using roofing material to keep sound at a minimum. Five Star Drywall really rocked and All Star was able to get in there and paint a day early!

Pence NW has an awesome project going on in Salem... I'm not going to tell you what this Tenant Improvement Project is but I will say we are moving along at quite an excelerated pace! If you're into the finishes and not the bones you're probably going to be bored with this post so I've tried to keep it interesting by creating mosaics...
Inspections are complete for the week and all these walls will be filled with insulation and soundproofing material. Our guys have done a terrific job working together to make sure the job is kept clean during the process.
In a few days this space will be sheetrocked and painted... that's when the design kicks in and I will get to show off what I've been working on.

This space has great hallways that lead to individual offices:
The conference room is large and is in center of space:
The clients had a very strong opinion of color used in the space. The chose Sherwin Williams SW6113 Interactive Cream as main color.
Accent walls were either SW 6192 Coastal Plain:

And some chose both colors as accent walls:
The clients are very happy with this space... which is most important at Pence NW!
While the summer months have been filled with fun, they've also been filled with Designing Kitchen & Copy Room Cabinets for a Tenant Improvement Project. The new line of cabinets at Canyon Creek "Newcastle" was the perfect choice for this Pence NW project; it gave the client a new look without breaking the budget.

The new space will have a microwave since code does not allow for range.
The Copy Room cabinets were designed against back wall to give them a great work area:

Before moving to it's new location Jonathan's occupied this space:
Known for Cajun Cuisine & Fresh Seafood, it now occupies the space on High Street:
If you've followed the saga you will remember the bar was moved down the street from the previous location, the interior of the space was remodeled by Pence NW Construction and now Jonathan's is open! And what a fabulous addition to the restaurant scene in Salem! The "Jonathan's" side is more for the "fine dining" experience.
The hostess station was rebuilt from the old bar. Booths were reupholstered to carry out a "Green Theme"
Brent came up with a brilliant idea to put lights in the bottom of the boat!

The Oyster Bar Side is like it says... for adults!
The new bar is beautiful! Our craftsmen put a lot of hours bringing the bar back to its original look. Remember what it looked like?
Beyond the bar is the well stocked kitchen:
Expect Chef Chris to whip up some incredible meals, he's done this before... at the old location (and yes, the clam chowder is amazing)
It doesn't matter whether you decide to just stop by for a casual drink with friends or a fine meal, you will not be disappointed in the Seafood & Cajun Cuisine!

Back in October a Bar was moved from Liberty Street down to High Street. In December we were very close to opening but had a few things to take care of. Now the place is perfect and ready to open! OPEN: Thursday, January 21, 2010!
What an opportunity to work on this project! Pence NW did a fabulous job! I have so many wonderful photos to share... and they're coming soon!
