To me there is unique character to an old home. I don't know whether it's the moss growing on the roof, or the cracks in the wall holding moistue. These things together are beautiful... but not necessarily healthy for a home.
So the walls have been cleaned, the cracks have been filled and the home has been painted, and now the grate has gone up. It was powder coated to give it many years of wear.
These grates bring back the character of the old and being able to open the window and let in fresh air is wonderful!
This is our favorite place to dine in the evening, as the cool breeze floats through the porch.
