Aging eyes... it's interesting to me. I always had 20/20 vision until I turned 40, then it was all down hill. We started with really weak readers, just enough to help the really small print come into focus. We found glasses 2 for $10 at the hardware store, paid a bit more for "cool looking" glasses online (which actually turned out to be "jumbo" cool looking glasses) and then decided to visit the eye doctor for prescription glasses that we wouldn't be embarrassed to wear at work.
10 Years later, we've gotten stronger readers, while keeping the weaker ones and have these floating around the house. Seriously, I looked around the house this morning when I needed readers for a recipe and I found, all of these:

And yet did I have a pair next to my computer tonight? No!
