Posting this late last night I realized I left out some very important information like... who is the birthday girl to me. Well, she's my Aunt Mary. Our family lived next to her & my uncle when I was young, because of that I have a very special relationship with her. I remember her taking me to "The Sound of Music", riding the donkey on their property, traveling to California to visit extended family and just sitting at the breakfast table eating english muffins.
My Mom's gift to her was treating her like Queen for a day... Catering to her every need!
Every thing was in place for Aunt Mary's very special 80th Birthday Celebration, a beautiful table setting; complete with fine china, silver and crystal filled with Mimosa's!

And a Beautiful 80 Year Young Birthday Girl!
Her siblings were there to help celebrate; John the baby and twins Eileen & Arlene
Along with my sister, sister-in-law & cousin, the other Birthday Girl... we won't mention how young she is since my birthday is next!
My sister-in-law doesn't like having her picture taken... for whatever reason I don't know, she's adorable!
After a fabulous meal....
And opening presents...
We shared in the fun of looking at old photos Aunt Mary / Birthday Girl had brought for each of us. Christmas cactus you see is one she divided up to share with each of us, it's from a plant that belonged to my Grandma
This was a party filled with memories to last!
I feel very fortunate to be part of such an energetic, youthful family!
