Many moons ago I took a quilting class with my daughter, one who is not only very creative but whose business Ribbon Jar facilitates creativity and craftiness. I used to love quilting and still do but my ambitions have lead me in other directions. As I was lamenting to a friend that I couldn't quite find the time to do all the things I enjoy, my wise friend said to me "You can do many things in your life, you just can't do them all at once". So while I may not quilt as often as I used to, it's something I still enjoy should I find the time for it. The time is now as I feel the need to complete this project.
I believe this is called a circle quilt Circle Dance Quilt, whatever called it was a challenge. Also, I should have put more thought into the colors, it's pretty wild even for my liking. I spent some time at Greenbaums picking out a border but I think what I've chosen pulls everything together.
I won't actually quilt the top, batting and back together, it will be sent away for that. Then I will stitch the binding around the edges and take another picture and share the finished project!
